July 10, 2025: Rowan Master Gardener Propagation Workshop – 9:00 AM-12:00 PM
Learn hands-on propagation skills for taking cuttings and getting them to root in the greenhouse. Rowan County Master Gardener Volunteers will demonstrate how to take and root cuttings. Each participant will get to take home a tray of cuttings after they have rooted.

August 12, 2025: Save the Bees All the Bees with Spriggly’s Beescaping
Beginning with a brief history of humans and bees, explore why honey bees have taken the forefront of our attention for so long. However, the bees that need our help are the 4,000 species of wild native bees in North America (and 20,000 or so species around the world!) Learn about the lives of these pollination machines through an exploration of common North American species and the habitat each requires for nesting and survival.

May 2, 2026: ANNUAL SPRING PLANT SALE
The Rowan Master Gardeners are getting ready all year long for the Annual Spring Plant Sale, propagating and nurturing LOTS of landscape plants ~ trees & shrubs, perennials & herbs ~ as well as some houseplants! It is the PERFECT time to plant, and our plants are the most affordable in the area!!
Master Gardener Volunteers are on-staff to answer all your plant/garden/landscape questions!
