May 2, 2026: ANNUAL SPRING PLANT SALE
The Rowan Master Gardeners are getting ready all year long for the Annual Spring Plant Sale, propagating and nurturing LOTS of landscape plants ~ trees & shrubs, perennials & herbs ~ as well as some houseplants! It is the PERFECT time to plant, and our plants are the most affordable in the area!!
Master Gardener Volunteers are on-staff to answer all your plant/garden/landscape questions!

Rowan Master Gardener Propagation Workshops
Learn hands-on propagation skills for taking cuttings and getting them to root. Rowan County Master Gardener Volunteers will demonstrate how to take and root cuttings. The Master Gardener Volunteers maintain your planted tray in our greenhouse, where they are lovingly watered for several weeks. Then, each participant is notified to come take home their tray(s) of cuttings after they have rooted.
2026 DATES:
○ 1st class: Tuesday, June 23th
○ 2nd class: Monday, July 13th
○ 3rd class: Saturday, August 8th
TIME: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m
WHERE: Old Agriculture Center – 2727 Old Concord Road, Salisbury, NC 28146
BRING: Bring your own (sterilized) pruners and plant cuttings (there will be cuttings to share!)
COST: $25/tray (if propagating a tray for the Master Gardener Plant Sale ~ this is FREE!)
